About Me

I'm a breaking news and public safety reporter for the Statesman Journal in Salem, Oregon. I studied Journalism and Gender & Sexuality Studies at Northwestern University and gradated in 2024. At the Statesman Journal, I cover crime, courts and safety issues. I previously worked as a general assignment reporter for the Chicago Sun-Times, where I worked on national stories like the UAW and WGA strikes, as well as stories on local events and issues. I have also worked as a multiplatform editing intern at the San Francisco Chronicle, a reporting intern at Sound Publishing in Washington state, and as the Summer Editor in Chief, Print Managing Editor and the Campus Editor at The Daily Northwestern. I have covered labor, activism, law, politics and much more. I am a member of NLGJA and ACES.
